I'm not sure if this is solely ear or sinus related.
For about the last 10 years I thought I had a seasonal allergy that seemed to be present October-February each year. GP at that time said he couldn't refer me for allergy testing as it's not a continual issue. Not sure if that is correct now.
For at least the last 9 months I've had a muffled wave sound in my ears. I seem to notice it more when I'm trying to sleep.
I'm experiencing this part alone for about 5 days every week then I get what I can only describe as a 'squelchy' ear. Some wax? will leave my ear - then the whole process starts over again?
Some weeks my nose seems blocked as in I can't blow my nose. One nostril more so than the other. Other times it's ok but I still have the ear symptoms regardless.
Years ago the GP suggested using a neti pot for a nasal rinse. It seemed to help but not solve the issue. The neti pot isn't working for me now.
Any experience or knowledge on this would be appreciated?
