Five year old DD writhing in agony and has sore frontbum. She has been up crying most of night Fri and Sat. She starts at 4pm ish everyday. There is no discharge or funny smell (sorry!) and when she is otherwise occupied she never mentions it. When she gets bored or goes to bed she is hysterical and crying.

She obviously has soreness but does this suggest cystitus or thrush or is she playing me up. Any ideas/solutions anyone?. Thanks

Poor thing.

My dds go through phases of this.
Gp suggested they might have 'worms' causing scratching and soreness.
Also to be aware of bubble bath or wash powder skin sensitivities.

Does she have any pain when going to the toilet?
Or pain in her stomach?
Could it be a UTI?
If so, you could try getting her to drink a lot, to dilute her urine.

Might be best to get her to the surgery with a urine sample.
