Can teething cause vomiting in a 22 m old?

LO has been struggling with her teeth - last ones coming through, incisors I think. She has been very lethargic and upset last couple of days and today vomited a few times and off her food.

Went to NHS Direct who just said 'keep an eye on her' etc. There is no dioreha (sp/)or temp but keeps putting finger on her gums, off her food and really grumpy.

Could it be her teeth do you think? Didn't think teething could cause vomiting.

My 1yr old is suffering from exact same symptoms. I wonder if there is yet another bug going round. Poo, it's her first birthday tomorrow, poor little scrap
