DD has just shown me a wobbly tooth and I'm assuming it's the first of her baby teeth about to fall out. But isn't it a bit early? I thought this didn't happen til about age 6 or 7?

DD will be 5 in August, but she's always been very tall for her age and just seems older than a lot of her classmates. Don't know if this is relevant but just thought I'd mention it.

I work in a school, and we often have children losing their first teeth in reception, so it is not that unusual.

My ds lost his front two in Reception and his adult teeth came straight down. My only worry was that he'd knock them out getting them so young!

DS2 lost 4 baby teeth in reception but DS3 who is in yr5 has still only lost 5 of his baby teeth!
