Glue in hair!

Ds cracked his head open last week at it was glued back together.
The glue ran a bit down his head and so his hair is matted around that area.
DOes anyone have any ideas of how to remove it without pulling the hair out?

When this happened to dh, he just kept washing it, it eventually came out .... but he is not a little boy and didn't pick at it. hmm, not sure i now what else to suggest.

You could try nail polish remover.
I should think that would do it.
