Is this a wort, or a kind of spot?

*wart

I found this a couple of weeks ago just above my hip on the side. It just sort of appeared out of the blue. Does anybody know what this might be?

I thought it may be a scab, but it hasn't fallen off, and I can't scratch it off either.

Forgot to mention that it isn't itchy, and is alittle scaly.

Just looks like a subcutaneous lump.
If you're worried then seek a DO appointment but it wouldn't worry me too much

Sorry... replace DO with GP.

Get it checked out. It's probably nothing to worry about, but don't take risks with new skin lesions.

@sprigatito thank you, I will. My Grandma died of skin cancer that lead to stomach cancer. It is always a sensitive subject for me.
