My partner has had a shoulder that dislocates off and on for over 14 years. He has finally got an appointment for an operation to fix his shoulder with the NHS in (Scotland). Yesterday when he was home by him self he passed out in between 2.15pm and 3pm. Passed out for at lest 30 to 45 minutes! Due to his shoulder dislocation. This is concerning he could have had less oxygen to the brian or hit hid head. What if it happens again and ends up dead. I am so worried about him. But he wont go to the hospital to get checked and think there is no point and nothing they will do. My question is will they operate sooner because he passed out for so long and next time it could be worse? He his refusing and i am do worried.
