My 7yo has a temp of 38.6 but apart from a cough and feeling a bit tired she doesn't appear to be too bad. Normally with a temp this high she'd be obviously really poorly. It's not my thermometer as I've checked my 12yo and she's fine. What could be going on? She's had a cold and reduced appetite for a week or so but thought she was getting over it as she seems her usual perky self most of the time. She's been complaining of tired legs on and off for a while too. I will give her meds and keep an eye on her but it's really odd that she's reading so high and she's still behaving relatively normally.

Just to add, I've booked her in at the Dr's as she's been struggling with eating much for a while and seems to be getting more averse to foods. She also gets random pains in her legs a lot but the appointment isn't until next week. I get the feeling something isn't right but I'm not entirely sure what. It's an odd one.
