I'm in my 50's, work 25 hours a week on a computer and a few more scrolling on my phone. My fingers often ache, especially in the cold, i'm assuming I'm heading towards some kind of rheumatism or the like when I get older? Want to try and prevent it getting any worse for a few years. Can't change my job, would massage help them? Grip exercises? Any help gratefully received x

Voltarol gel. I rub it like hand cream on my fingers when my arthritis flares up.

I wear Turtle Doves fingerless gloves when I am working and it's cold. The keep the hands and fingers warm, but you can still type easily.

You could ask your doctor to refer you for some physio.
