I have ulcerative colitis and have been having infusions that seem to help. Today I had a pretty severe allergic reaction, with hives - deep red and quite swollen, difficulty talking even. I was given immediate steroids and antihistamine and it has improved vastly. Dr. asked for 2 blood tests for levels of the infusion drug and "antibodies". Does anyone know what he is looking for in the antibodies?
