Should I see a dentist? Bumps on tongue

Hi,

4 or 5 days ago I noticed a small white bump on the side of my tongue - almost like a ulcer but it's tiny and it's burning when I eat salty things. Since I first noticed the ulcer I've looked in my mouth and I have about 3 painless bumps right on the back of my throat but on my tongue. My throat isnt sore.

Have had oral thrush before so possibly that?
Google isn't helping much to be honest but I saw online it says to wait 3 weeks to see if an ulcer heals before seeing anyone.

My father passed 5 months ago from cancer so I am perhaps a bit more sensitive to these things at the moment.

So watch and wait or see someone soonish?

The bumps at the back of the tongue are circumvallate papillae - normal part of the tongue anatomy.
The lump on the side of the tongue - I’d wait another week to see if it disappears.
