I've got eye dermatitis and been prescribed this by GP (it's 1%} and instructed to apply for one week to eye area. Anyone used on eyes and found it's worked or helped with no side effects?

My daughter did, it was fine.

Yes, it was fine.

yes I’ve had to use it a few times. Think I had 0.5% though. Just need a very thin application. The only thing that clears up eczema on my eyelids. Not side effects that I noticed.

Hello my husband gets this when stressed ☹️

if it’s on both eyelids/around eyes he has to be careful with applying with different fingers

it does work but there can be a bit of redness for awhile

Yes, GP told me they prescribe it for babies. I often have allergic reactions to make up/skincare and use it as soon as I get a reaction starting. Squashes it straight away usually.

Yes, you only need a tiny bit and it worked after only a few applications.

Thanks loads! I got in a tizz as I've read all
these horror stories about steroids and how when you stop using it, it can come back worse etc, so was worried about applying it. Also read about thinning of skin situ. Maybe this is very long term use.

Definitely fine to use as recommended. The issue is very long term use of higher strength steroids. Hope it helps!
