Blood with diarrhea can anyone stop me spiralling please?

Hello, I’ve got health anxiety which has been completely under control for a while now.
however Monday I started with a horrendous stomach upset, really bad painful cramps, having to run to the loo, pretty explosive.
with the third bout when i looked into the toilet bowl and it was all pink - as in the toilet bowl wasn’t full but what was in there was pink.
it happened again once after but a tiny bit, i do have a picture but didn’t want to gross anyone out over their breakfast!

since Tuesday night I’ve had no more upset stomach but am now constipated and have the fear of going to the toilet incase i see loads of blood. I know it’s stupid.
i haven’t been able to get through to my GP and not sure what they can actually do anyway at this point as I can’t give a stool sample!

but naturally I have convinced myself I have bowel cancer especially since I’ve been feeling really tired and run down recently

had you recently eaten beetroot?

Fresh bright blood like that is usually a broken blood vessel . Have you hemmaroids ? If you're concerned then get checked out but its usually darker older blood that you need to worry about.

No beetroot but I did have chilli the same day (before I realised how upset my stomach was).
Thank you for the sanity check. I know nobody can diagnose online but I’m desperately trying to keep myself on top of the anxious thoughts as it’s so hard to get out of once you spiral.
i think I might have haemorrhoids actually tmi but I have some little bumps.

I had this couple years Ago. I was on multiple courses of antibiotics for a dental infection and I think my stomach couldn’t handle it. I literally couldn’t stop going to the toilet and in the end it turned into what looked like bright red blood pouring out of me. 111 sent ambulance. Needed to go into hospital for drip. They put it down to a gastro infection. I think it was the antibiotics. Hope this helps put your mind at rest .

It's common with an upset stomach,more than likely a broken blood vessel as a pp suggested. Hope you feel better soon .
