I kept her off yesterday, and she had a rotten night. No actual vomitting tho, I guess its yet another virus.

I hate it when they are off as you don't get to hear those comforting words form other mums 'yes there's something going round'.

Even after 6 yrs, i am always worried becuase I can't make it better, and start imagining something more sinister.
I suppose its just not pleasant hearing them in distress, and feeling like you cannot do anything.

She also has a sore throat, stinky breath and 3 wobbly teeth.!

So please tell me, is there something going round?

My ds2 is off. Headache, high temp - not tetchy as feeling too ill. There is a bug here (surrey). Last week there were 13 children off sick from ds1's class.

Dh has it too. Dd2 had it last week. I have awful chest, cough & sore throat. Just waiting on dd1 and ds2!!

I mean dd1 and ds1! Ds2 has it at the moment.

Ds2 was up to 39.5 yesterday. I assumed that was high! He is rubbish at taking calpol, but managed to get a bit of nurofen mixed with orange juice down him.

Loads & loads of children are off school with it here.
