My mum has got me worrying now

My right hand started to feel a bit numb a few days ago. I have a skin complaint so thought it might be that. Arm is now also numb. I think it is because I have been on the PC alot doing various things for work (also playing solitaire ) as my other arm is not numb. I was planning on going to the dr tomorrow, she just rang to make sure I would go (am nearly 30 ffs) as she thought it may be something to do with my pill, or weight loss medication. Am now crapping it that I will have a stroke or something in the night. Anyone experienced similar? TIA

Could be a trapped nerve

There are sooooo many things this could be, but I bet you don't have a stroke in the night.

I would imagine it is a trapped nerve, though.

I've had very similar and it was computer use related - always best get it checked out though (and make sure you have computer situation set up properly regardless).

I get this with my left arm all the time. GP has run tests and put it down to nerve pain. I do get neck and back ache with it usually as well, but can get tingling in both arms without pain if this helps x

It really does feel like nerve pain, and I notice that if I sit for too long clicking on mouse I get a strain across my shoulder. Thanks very much for your soothing comments and for reassuring me though- it seems I certainly am my mother's daughter!
