Can anyone advise. Jumped in the swimming pool with dd today and got terrible pain in ear

That was at 1 oclock this morning, I have now had to take pain killers for the pain in my ear. What have I done???

You may have otitis externa (outer ear infection).

Dose yourself up on painkillers tonight and se your GP if still painful tomorrow.

Okay thanks. My ear was perfectly fine until I jumped in the pool with dd. have done this hundreds of times before without problem. Thanks for the reply though
