White coated tonsils but no pain?

Hi,

i had 2 wisdom teeth removed around a week and a half ago so I’m not sure if it’s related but it didn’t happen when I had the other 2 removed before that!

I’ve noticed I have a horrible taste in my mouth and bad breath towards the end of the day especially. When I looked at my tonsils they are coated in white, and it’s definitely not tonsil stones as I’ve always had them and there’s a clear difference.

Anyone know what this might be and a way to remedy it at home if possible?

thanks

Might be oral thrush?

Possibly, thanks for your opinion. My tongue isn’t white and all the other threads on the matter seem to suggest that I’d be in pain which I’m not. The taste is horrific after a few hours of not eating
