So my period is now a month late. Not using any contraception and happy to get pregnant with DC4 if it happens. Have tested 3 times with digital PG test yesterday, - all negative.

I am not stressed, not anorexic or underweight, not training for a marathon ...

Normally regular 31 day cycle.

Anyone else had a 'missed period' ? Do you bleed humungously the next time . Should I visit the GP to get myself checked out?

So many questions !!

Go to the doctor, definitely. Worth having a few tests and putting your mind at rest.

Slightly tender boobs and a bit bloated - but I guess that could be the mother of all periods on it's way ?!?

How old are you, could it be early menopause? Sometimes starts with the odd missed period.

LaidbackinEngland · 01/04/2008 13:06

Thank for your advice.

yes laidback! I am on 1st cycle ttc and period over 2 weeks late but not pg. I had some ewcm about a week ago so think I might get AF in about a week. I think I may have inadvertently been stressing about ttc thereby delaying ovulation. I have missed periods before when suffering from stress and depression. Have you been stressed out at all?

LaidbackinEngland · 01/04/2008 22:15

Shneebly I have had no unusual stress (apart from what you normally get with three feral children )

Hmm..I would wait and see if next one comes and if not get thee to the GP my dear.

sillybillybee · 01/04/2008 22:22

Only a month?? My last one was at the start of dec lol and apart from ignoring that fact I've not done anything about it but I guess its not really advised and you should go to the docs like the others have said.
