Proper 'flu?

I have only had proper full blown flu once and it took about two weeks to recover after a week in bed.
I was so tired all the time.

thats a comfort. Yes, proper flu. I had it once when I was about 20 but I can't remember how long it took me to feel ok.

I am exhausted. Really exhausted. The worst of the symptoms have passed but I really can hardly move at times. I have to take it slow up and down the stairs (I feel about 90!!!) and I'm not eating much. Last night I fell into a deep, deep sleep at 9pm and woke exhausted again today. Was up with two of my children in the night but not so it would exhaust me this much.

thanks, at least I have a timescale.
