frequent pins and needles in left hand

This all started when I trapped a nerve/pinched a muscle beneath my left shoulder a couple of weeks ago. This was only a problem as it made sleeping on my front uncomfortable, but my left arm starts tingling (mildly) if I try to sleep on my side.
During the day I forget about it, and it seems a bit trivial to make a GP appointment about it BUT I am 20 wks pregnant and soon sleeping on my back is going to be uncomfortable soon unless this tingling goes away. Any ideas, anyone?

i had this when i injured my elbow, whole hand went numb on and off. i was referred to a specialist who did sort of electric shock tests but it was ok and healed on it's own.

you could see the dr to be sure. any nerve damage takes a while to heal ime. poor you.
