So dd had oral antibiotics and within 24 hrs felt her throat was swelling closed. She saw the gp who looked and said her throat was swollen and decided she’s now allergic to penicillin.
this was Thursday and the throat issue is still there. It’s in one precise place and she says it feels like a marble. She’s aware of it all the time but says if she takes a deep breath or eats it is like it swells up for 30 seconds or so and for that time she feels her throat is totally occluded.
is this normal following an allergic reaction
