Red eyes in 6 month baby? Help?!

Hi.
currently awaiting a doctors appointment so thought I would post on here to see if someone could help me out?!

my baby is 6 months old, he is fine within himself, wet&dirty nappys happy and smiling and no temp or anything else wrong just the redness in both the eyes in the white parts..
no discharge from the eye either..
he’s currently teething badly so wondering could this be anything to do with it?
I think it looks like allergies from my pet maybe?but I’m not sure… he sneezed a few times coughed quite hard but it isn’t constantly just now and then I’ve noticed when my pet is near or when o haven’t hovered?!
Also this is in both eyes the dots have gone down and are hardly there now but the red lines are it’s like a patch of redness?!

I'd wait for your GP appointment. They probably refer to the specialist.

Yes no it doesn’t look like pink eye at all it’s very strange.. he’s so happy dosent hurt him so I’m not sure if it’s teething? Or could possibly be allergies to my pets fur as she is very furry lol and maybe irrated the eyes? I’m not sure 🤔 will update when have been seen by doctors.
