Awake and in Pain.

I'm so sore. I have a full aching sometimes twisting pain in my ride side/back groin type area.
Have had paracetamol and ibuprofen with zero effect.

Heat not working. I've been sick once when I walked to the loo.

Can't get comfortable standing makes me
Nauseous sitting and
Lying hurts.

Please help all suggestions welcome. Everyone here is asleep.

Should add I feel freezing one minute and boiling the next but my temp is normal.

I haven't spoken to anyone. I'm at home. Have come down to the sofa. Feel like I need to wee loads now too but nothing coming.

Could be a UTI

Ok. So best way to see a doc at the weekend - is it to ring out of hours. We don't have 911 in NI

Just dipped urine (had sticks from Covid time) nothing in it. No protein or blood.

Do you still have your appendix? Sounds like you have a temperature with the hot/cold thing. The right side/low down pain is ringing a bell to me.

Just re read your message- sickness as well- that was me! I think you need to get medical attention asap.

Is it shifting around or staying in the same place no matter what? Shifting is more likely to be gas/stomach bug. One place is more likely to be a problem

have you tried ice on the area for some short term relief? Bag of peas works well

have you eaten anything recently that could be dodgy?

do you have any tums or upset stomach remedies?

It really does sound like a kidney issue. Call 111 for sure

No one online can help you. Phone the OOH or go to A&E.

Not been able to pass urine is a red flag also even if not appendix could still be serious x

Get yourself checked out, OP. Hope you're feeling much better soon.

On call doc sent me to A&E. they reckon I have kidney stones. Waiting on scan. Have had some good pain killers so feel less fractious at least.
