I thought I had cut it on something and just hadn't realised or something and couldn't see the tiny injury/splinter etc. But no, it seems my thumb pad (?!? Name ) is now permanently numb. I'm 37 - overweight and with 3 dc 2-10 years old and working a lot (wfh online teaching ) I don't take much care of myself.

I also have a very painful ankle base which from googling seems to be plantar facilitus (sp no idea sorry) no idea how that started.

I've also got a broken tooth which has been for awhile while I try to get an insurance plan (I live abroad ). I'm falling apart and am starting to worry what if it's something sinister causing the 2 issues they arrived a month ago same time. Never had the issues b4.

I need to change my drs it's not easy getting appointments for adults though.

Any advice on what thumb issue could be or how to help the foot from someone whose had the issue ?
