Nausea and headache (not pregnant)

Wondering what can be going on with me...

A week ago I developed a very intense headache, along with a feeling of nausea and generally being 'not right'. No vomiting, no temperature. Headache has become slightly less intense over last few days but has never fully gone away, and nausea has got worse. Nausea is relentless, I feel sick 24/7. Eating doesn't seem to make it particularly worse or better and OTC painkillers don't seem to have much effect on headache. Both nausea and headache seem worse when I move positions a lot - eg having a shower and washing/drying hair.

I'm definitely not pregnant (have taken a test and recently had my period.) I had an eye test a few days ago which showed normal eye pressure, despite feeling as though there is a lot of pressure in my head.

Any ideas at all?? I'm finding it quite debilitating and becoming anxious that there could be something seriously wrong.

Have you seen a doctor? I’d suggest doing that if you haven’t already. A week is a long time to have a headache. It doesn’t necessarily mean something seriously wrong, but it would be good to get checked out and see if they can help you.

I’ve had a weird head pressure headache for three weeks now. My eyes were also ok in terms of no pressure shown. GP said it could be my sinuses as my nose is blocked on one side most of the time. It’s driving me crazy

Not seen a doctor yet - I will try to get an appt. The headache does seem to have eased off this evening but the nausea is so intense it has just woken me up. Still no vomiting. So strange.
