please can someone talk to me

my ds(8) has just gone out of hours docs and ive got myself in a right state, he suffers with his tonsils anyway but we dropped him off at my mums for the night and he phoned me within 20 mins saying he was having trouble swallowing his tea, my dad looked inhis throat andhesaid one tonsil is massive and the other one is halfway massive, im in a right flap because isnt it bad if one tonsil is bigger than the other and also he has these swollen lymph nodes in his (have posted bout these before) hes seen docs about them and they responded to antibiotics but ive always been bothered about them, now im terrified

Don't panic. If hes gone to the out of hours doc - then that's the best place for help & advice & they will do whatever to make it better

Hope someone comes along to help in a minute, but the best thing is to go to the doctor's, so he's in the right place.

just seen this, you poor thing! I have no idea though, did you ask the doc? Or could you phone nhs direct and ask them?

thanks wizzz, am ok now, dh has just phoned, and he was seen very quickly, the doctor said its absolutely fine and just a virus, he even had a good feel of the dreaded glands and commented 'oooo u have some lovely ones there' apparently he says not to worry bout them, he also stuck his tortch down dh's throat to look at his sore throat am soooo relieved, i gotton myself quite worked up

no S, my dh took him, i have a LO in bed and am in my pjs
