I’m waiting for my termination appointment on Thursday and have what I think is HG.

i have been nauseated since positive test and sick in the mornings but it ramped up a week ago. I haven’t been able to keep food down for 4 days, can’t keep down water either. I have lost 2.5 kilos in weight as of yesterday. It shows no sign of letting up.

i’m not known to any midwives and my GP is closed. NHS 111 will just eellcme to go to pharmacy

my DH has taken our child out to the shopping centre for soft play and some shopping. I can’t get out of bed. Barely texting this on my phone at 10% brightness

is a pharmacist likely to prescribe something to get me through the next few days.DH is going to try go to boots and see what they say

i cant parent my child or do snything

so unwell

I feel like I am being punished

Kwells or Stugeren will help you. Unfortunately the strong stuff has to come from the doctor but I took Kwells before I knew I was pregnant and they worked great.

Hi OP
Sorry you are feeling so unwell.

If you are unable to keep water down, you may need to go to a&e so they can keep you hydrated via IV fluids.

Or call 111 to try and get an out of hours GP appointment; they may be able to give you something stronger than the OTC tablets.

Hope you feel better soon 🌷

No a pharmacist can't prescribe the antisickness but as a PP has said, contact 111 who will give you an out of hours appointment or may get a doctor to prescribe it and send the prescription to a pharmacy to be picked up. Hope you feel better soon!

pharmacist refused to even recommend anything over the counter

So much wasted time today

doctor over the phone wouldn’t prescribe me with the medication because I would throw it up, so arranged for me to attend urgent care for an anti sickness injection. Appt was at 6

dragged myself into the back seat of my car- they didn’t have the anti sickness injection on site so wrote me a prescription for a special medication that melts on your gums so I wouldn’t vomit it

dash to the pharmacy- they don’t have it

ring all pharmacies open- no one has these meds

prescribing pharmacist at the pharmacy I was at rings urgent care and then the OOH doctor redrafts my prescription for generic meds over the phone and pings it over

so I go home with the same medication I could have picked up at 2pm this afternoon

I have already vomited it up I can’t keep anything down

my only option is to present at a&e now and I don’t want to :(

When I had this the out of ours dr send referred me to the early pregnancy unit.
I was on a drip for two days. They gave me anti sickness meds and injection.

This could be your best bet? There was no way I could wait in A&E with HG.

I hope you feel better, it's fucking brutal x
