Heart feels like it’s racing but it’s not

Last year I started having what felt like a panic attack out of nowhere - it felt like my heart was racing out of my chest and vibrating. Normal ECG. Was diagnosed with high blood pressure and started Candesartan. I said to the GP I felt like my symptoms were worse when my BP was high but she said high BP doesn’t have symptoms generally.
after a major surgery a few minutes later I was extremely anemic but I didn’t have the racing heart feeling, and had an iron infusion about two months ago.
however last few weeks the racing heart feeling is back, my BP is optimal.
Ive got a blood test booked but just wondering if anyone had similar?

I was going to say that I get this when I’m anaemic, for me it’s low ferritin (iron stores) that sets it off - feels like my heart is racing but it isn’t, I just can feel it beating much more than normal.

Sounds like you could be still struggling with the anaemia.

I think so too! Thank you
