Paracetamol took to many accident

Morning

Such a stupid post from me
I woke up half asleep with tooth pain
And was supposed to take two paracetamol and one antibiotic

Some how and idk why but I managed to take 4 paracetamol 🙈🙈🙈

I was on the phone to my mom at the time which probably contributed to making mistakes

But she told me to make myself sick so I did a good few times

There's not much more I can do about it
Everyone I've spoke to said it will be okay
And just go back to bed

And don't take any more for 12 hours

What am I like honestly never done that before been so tired lately 🤦‍♀️

I think it will be ok now you've been sick but if you're worried phone 111, they won't mind.

Typically you’ll be ok if you’re still under the max. 24 hour dose, just make sure you don’t take any more. I’d give 111 a call for peace of mind if you haven’t already.

DD was accidentally double dosed with paracetamol in hospital of all places! A nurse forgot to chart that she had been given IV paracetamol and then an hour later another nurse came round with paracetamol tablets. I was not pleased in the slightest and made sure to put in a complaint so that it wouldn’t happen again. Absolutely no ill effects though - just advised not to take paracetamol for the next 24 hours.

I've called my midwife she said it would be okay

And I've called 111 waiting for a call back

So stupid of a mistake I'm paranoid now

I have been taking two every 6 hours

I was due two 11.45 but didn't take any I prolonged it until I felt pain

I woke up at 3 am and made this silly mistake me been half asleep

No I'm just worrying myself 🤧🤧🤧

I have called 111 who said they will call me back soon

I would be very very surprised if there were any ill effects from this. Hope they have called you and reassured you by now - also hope your toothache is gone!

Yes my pain feels ok for now I'm 37 weeks pregnant and can only take paracetamol too
