Symptoms of teething.........

DD2 is just over 12 months and has had a bit of a temperature over the last two days. She is also dribbling and chewing lots of stuff so I assumed it is teething.

However she is also extremely grumpy - off her food a bit and very clingy and not as active as normal - there are no other symptoms other than being a bit snotty.

does this sound like normal teething associated stuff?

Maybe a mild virus as well?

Molars? My DD symptoms became more obvious (and like this) with the molars. It could also be a bit of a virus as Nicky suggests, my DD has almost permanently got a cold at the moment and is very grumpy when under the weather.

Thanks - I think it may be a virus as well - as i dont remember dd1 being like this.

Its nice to a have a bit of reassurance about what it might be before running to the doctors again.

gingerninja - when I am brave enough I will stick my finger in her mouth and see whats happening - her teeth feel like little needles at the mo.
