Like now, shes burning up, runny nose, steaming eyes. Is like this one week and then fine for a week...been going on for months. Wondering whether to take her down to emergency doctors or what? Shes roasting right now and thats with calpol in her.

My DD1 is prone to these crazy temperatures too. Sometimes alternating calpol with childrens nurofen can be more effective at bringing it down, belladonna is also a great homeopathic remedy for an agressive temperature. If after stripping her and sponging her in tepid water you are still having trouble controlling the temp, do get her seen by docs or a&e a.s.a.p.
In the longer term, childrens liquid echinacea complex by Bioforce is extremely good at boosting their immune systems, it's certainly helped DD1 (2.10) along with daily childrens vits.
I hope she's feeling better soon.
