Stomach ulcer - cancer??

Has anyone had a stomach ulcer turn into cancer??

Dr Google tells me it's extremely rare but I can't shake it from my mind.

I had ct scans in December showing a mass in my stomach and was told with my symptoms and blood work it looks like cancer. A couple of days later and endoscopy showed it was a pyloric ulcer and a biopsy was taken.

I had another biopsy last month and finally got both results back this morning that there's no cancer detected.

But I can't shake the "you've likely got cancer" diagnosis from my head

Just because a Dr. says something looks like cancer doesn't mean that it is, as you have found out.

I have had a suspicious lesion on my liver that on a CT scan looked like cancer, further tests showed it wasn't. Same with a mole on my arm.

No Dr. can tell by looking at something that it is 100% cancer which is why they have to do a biopsy.

It wasn't a diagnosis, it was just the dr's opinion. I hope you can focus on the actual results which were no cancer detected.
