Hi,

just hoping someone could shed some light on what this might mean.

my Mum who is 76 got taken into hospital over the weekend while on holiday (still uk) with really bad pains in her upper abdomen. They tested her for an infection and then did a CT scan and said it showed liver debris?

They gave her morphine for the pain and discharged her after 48 hours but said she would need to have ‘treatment’ at her local hospital.

shes returned home today and has received a message regarding a pre op appointment this week at our local hospital but no further information.

Just hoping someone might be able to shed a bit of light on what this might be? Either the hospital are being very vague or she’s missed some information somewhere.

she has previouss had her gallbladder out about 20 years ago if this could be related 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thsnks in advance
