Foot ulcer? **WARNING PHOTO**

My 14 year old has just come back from a weekend DofE expedition. His feet got wet and after decontaminating him he pointed out his feet. He has a history of verrucas but I don't look at his feet often so I don't know what they were like before, but I was wondering if these are ulcers?

Please can anyone advise

Yes, they look like verrucas. From the photo, it looks like he might have a touch of athlete's foot, too - between the big toe and the second toe.
