New tattoo, Second skin reaction.. what do I do?

Hey so I got this tattoo done 12 days ago. I've noticed around the tattoo it's very dry and my skin is wrinkly. Why is this happening and will it eventually go because I hate it :(

I've been creaming it with cocoa butter and washing it but nothing is getting rid of it?

Any idea what's happened. I think I'm allergic to second skin but will it go then?

Given the location and lines it looks like a second skin reaction but I'd check in with your artist to make sure (and avoid second skin again). I'm assuming you're not reapplying the second skin or anything? I'd probably start taking some oral antihistamines and see what your artist suggests for aftercare. You might need something other than cocoa butter. Also worth asking about what you're using to wash it with as if it's not super gentle it might be making it dryer.

Oh and I had a dreadful second skin reaction once but my tat is perfect now and is probably the best healed overall. Don't panic too much.
