Dent in my skull painful

Hi all I'll start this by saying I've contacted GP and they've told me a call back from a GP wont be til April so I'm just asking to save my sanity.

I've just noticed a dent in my skull it may have been there before I've just never felt it before. It's to fingers wide and maybe a cm deep. When I apply pressure it gives me a headache and a feeling of pressure. It hardish but not as hard as rest of my skull. I've took a picture of where it is. The start of it and end is where my fingers are. My mum can't remember me having or not having it again she didn't look either. So I've googled and got myself overly worried. Could be normal could be cancer (with allot of things Google says lately). So just looking incase anyone can give me any indication of what it could be. Thankyou.

Do you wear glasses on your head?

I don't but I do tie my hair back allot. My sister seems to remember me hitting my head when I was younger so I'm wondering wether it's always been from that. I do have an odd shaped head aswell slight plagiocephaly at the back of my skull so it's prob from that and am getting myself overly worried I've contacted drs today and they said they can try to get a GP to call me before April but there's no promises so they must not be to worried x

I have one almost exactly the same size and place. Noticed it 15, 20 years ago and nothing bad has happened . never got it checked out or anything.

I also have one smaller one, not deep but about the same size as the tip of my index finger on my forehead. I suspect this one is from a car wreck I was in as I had a graze in the same place.

I mentioned that one to the GP and he felt it and basically shrugged and tried to put it down to the way skull bones are separated when you're a baby and gradually fuse together. But I'd never noticed it before and still think it was the knock to the head.

Anyway the first one I was obsessed with feeling for a while which of course made me think it was worse than it was. I leave it be now. After so long it's unlikely to be anything serious!

But the forehead one, I find myself rubbing it when I'm concentrating, seems to help me think, like magic Grin The car wreck was over 10 years ago so again, I doubt it's anything serious
