Can you feel your submandibular gland/s?

I've had what I thought was a swollen gland in my neck for weeks. Very prominent, squishy, small grape sized lump under my left jaw. The GP felt it too and did bloods, then sent me straight for scans and a biopsy (which reckon it's simply benign reactive). I've since googled on what size it should be, and the measurements from my scan are actually pretty much bob on the 'normal' size of the gland, so apparently mine just sticks out loads on one side. There's no obvious lump on the right side!

So, here I am, just wondering how unusual this is. I'll add I also have TMJD, I'm still unsure if the sticky out (but not technically swollen) gland is related to this in some way.

Adding a pic if anyone is unsure what to feel for!

Yes I can and my right side is bigger than the left.

That's reassuring, thanks! I've never actively felt for them before and was a little alarmed when I noticed one side was far more prominent than the other!
