oh my poor poor toes - what can I do for them?

My toes are looking a bit sad anyway - with chilblains (and some nail psoriasis). They are in that tender phase you get after the itching so stubbing them is very sore.

I just ran over them with a runaway 30kg tent. Was wrestling tent bag under stairs and it ran over my toes with one wheel.

oh the agony Was on the floor rolling around. unbelievable.

Now they have really really swollen up - all purple and huge. Not broken cos without shoes I can walk but I can't get my shoes on without mega pain. I can't ice them cos of the chilblains. ditto heat. Woe is me! what can I do? I need to be able to walk (and I'm not putting on sandals with this weather!)

Anti-inflammatories e.g. Ibuprofen. Beyond that, rest, ice, compression, elevation is the usual advice. Ice is no good for you, I have no idea whether compression would be ok with chillblains, so probably put your foot up and take some tablets.

Good idea - thanks girlfrommars. I've got some diclofenac in so I can take that. Can cope with foot up and easter egg chocolate will probably help too.
Its not feeling as acute as it was so I'm sure they will be fine!
