What on earth is wrong with my daughter's tongue?!

She had a mild sore throat a few days ago and then told me her tongue feels dry today and hurt when she ate salt and vinegar crisps....what on earth is this?

Cant be scraped away so not thrush.

I agree with previous posters, definitely looks like geographical tongue. My daughter used to have it.

I have geographic tongue and was going to say the same as PP.

Mine was/is caused by a severe B12 deficiency.
