Liver blood tests - Raised GGT

I have been suffering with the menopause for the past 4 years, I went to the docs early this year to complain about lethargy and they sent me for blood tests. I was advised by letter that I had to have repeat liver and thyroid tests, in 4 weeks and 8 weeks respectively.

I was just advised by telephone that my liver GGT are raised again and come back for further bloods in 6 weeks time.

Is this anything I should be worried about, my mother died of bile duct cancer and anything like this freaks me out!

How raised is it?
And how much do you drink? Specifically, did you drink the night before the test? That will raise it. The GP is meant to tell you not to drink any alcohol for 24 hours beforehand but they often don't.
