Serum ALT lower end of normal?

Just looking to see if anyone is able to explain this too me.

I've had blood tests done after needing them repeating from October. Back then, my serum ALT was around 40 and now it's 16. I know it's still technically classed as normal but I'm just wondering why the sudden drop? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm awaiting a call back from my GP but I suffer with health anxiety and just wondering if anyone is able to explain this to me?

The lower the better
Have you stoped taking any medications/alcohol?
Were you unwell at the time of the previous test?
Have you lost any central weight - a fatty liver is a common reason that ALT is is in higher normal range
