Is this pain muscular or more sinister?

For about three weeks now I've been getting a sharp pain in my right side, kind of between the ribs and my hip, it sometimes goes round.intonmy back and into my stomach. It is only there when I'm walking? I can walk at a very sow pace and it's not as severe but a brisk walk it's so painful and sore and literally doubles me over! What could it be? I do have gallstones and gallbladder issues but this is not the same pain and only comes on with physical activity. I'm reluctant to go to my GP as I do have a touch of h although anxiety and I am worried they might now believe me or take me seriously? Anyone had something like this and it was nothing bad?

Mine is much higher up. Its in th same place I would usually feel gallbladder pain but it's different and worse with walking.

It sounds like a stitch? Does it happen immediately when you pick up the pace or does it happen after a few minutes of brisk walking?
Go to the GP anyway, they'll take you seriously and reassure you on whatever it is.

Yeah a stitch or even a pulled muscle can be BAD.. take some ibuprofen n see if they help x

Thanks. It does.kind if feel like a stitch but waaayyyy worse. And I can also feel a spasm in th same area which is not painful. More like a twitch. Do stitches graduate to back and further down between rib and hips though? It comes in after a brief period of just normal walking. And then the pain can continue for.hkurs. it's like the walking triggers it. I know it's a trigger b cause a couple weeks ago when I was unwell with a flu I didn't go out for a whole week and was basically sedentry and I didn't get the pain.
