Have been dealing with this for several months now :(

I've tried anusol (Hydrocortisone) and it's useless. Does anyone know of anything else more heavy duty? Don't mind the price, I'll ship it from abroad! Just something that actually has an effect.

Yes, I'm doing the whole diet/exercise/water/no straining stuff as well.

I just use plain hydrocortisone as I seem to react to germaloids.
Baths help!

Have you tried using stool softeners? Recommend movicol once per day, then when you go out your feet on a stool. Was recommended to me by a colorectal consultant and has worked well, still occasionally get bleeding but I’m not in pain now

The ones from your GP are much stronger and contain higher doses of hydrocortisone and other ingredients, I get Uniroid HC. The ones over the counter don't touch mine. The anusol HC suppositories do give some relief though, and are better than the cream. Also recommend stool softener, it's a life saver (Dulcoease).
