My DH has been snoring a lot recently (it seems to have ramped up after baby arrived and I’m not sure if it’s because I’m struggling to get to sleep or sleep deprivation or perhaps stress on his part?)

it is making it hard to get to and stay asleep. Add to that the baby wake ups in the night!

seperate rooms is providing a temporary fix for now but I’d prefer this not to be a long term solution

we’re seeking medical advice as I’m aware there a number of ‘solutions’ - mouth guard, spray, ear plugs etc

keen to know others experiences- did you manage to resolve it and with what? Did you end up sleeping in separate rooms? I’ve heard you can just get used to the noise so it doesn’t affect sleep anymore- not sure how true this is!

Every time you shove, you were already awake.
After you shove, your DH is awake.
PLEASE for both your health
look at sleeping separately.
It will reduce your risk of stroke and heart attack and dementia.

I can never stop snoring
but I can make sure I and my husband sleep well.

I am currently a shover.

DH is like a machine gun going off.

Taking note of suggestions.

To every man or woman reading this thread
PLEASE
value good sleep against any ideas that separate beds imply marriage failure.

Being blunt, a good cuddle, a good shag, a good nights sleep a good cuddle and a good morning shag
is the absolute best

kids love being able to tell the same morning story twice
and cats love the extra space
