I am due to see a cardiologist soon but wondering if anybody had experienced something similar after birth.

My heart rate usually sits at around 75-85 bpm. But now it's fluctuating so much between 55-130!!!!!

My bp readings have also been up.

Getting so worried :-( doctor didn't seem overly worried but I am!

Sounds like a really normal range. Is there a reason you are particularly worried?

@Blanketenvy it's how quickly it changes. If I'm lying down it's 55bpm, if I stand it's suddenly at 80 and then start walking it's at 120 (within like 20 seconds). Is that normal? X

I'm not a cardiologist! But it doesn't sound incredibly abnormal, if I was you I'd stop monitoring it before your appointment, as it's just going to make you feel incredibly anxious hopefully for no reason.

My daughter’s heart rate would go up to over 170 beats a minute. She has beta blockers, my sister is the same. Although they never have coffee because that sends it soaring and gives them palpitations.
