Hi
there is a bump that has appeared over DD’s eyebrow, on one side of her forehead. She hasn’t bumped her head, it isn’t sore or red and it appears to be under the skin and it’s hard and quite noticeable in a certain light. It feels more like bone than a cyst or spot or lump. I’ve not mentioned it to DD or booked a GP appointment as she is very sensitive about her looks at the moment and don’t want to give her something to dwell on.
She hasn’t noticed it, she hasn’t said that she has any symptoms/ banged her head/ headaches and she’s a big softie so she would definitely mention it is she wasn’t well or if she had banged her head.
It’s new, she hasn’t always had it. She’s just had another growth spurt. Do people just have these things appear. No one else has mentioned it to her and now I’ve seen it I can’t stop looking at it (whilst DD doesn’t realise!) I am tying to work out if I’m worrying over nothing, if it’s normal or if I need to get her checked out. I know people can have random lumps - see lots of men with skin head cuts and can see many skulls not perfect- and bumps but it’s the fact I’ve just noticed it.
Anyone experience of anything similar?
