I have fever and child has whooping cough?

I’ve had a fever for 2 days and feeling groggy and unwell with no other symptoms my dc is 4 weeks in to whooping cough and yes they’ve been vaccinated they finished the antibiotics on Monday so they where still infectious until some time last week I have no cough none at all but I’m feeling worse and worse do you think it is related I believe I’m vaccinated aswel ?

It seems more likely it would be something else, especially since you aren’t coughing at all, but you probably shouldn’t dismiss the possibility. The vaccines aren’t perfect and IIRC become less effective after 10 years so your own may have worn off.
