Well, we went to see dh's consultant today.
She is happy that his breathing is now good enough that he doesn't need a pleural drain.
She (and the Macmillan nurse who I also spoke to this morning) thinks that the lack of energy/appetite/nausea is at least in part to him stopping his steroids, so he is back on them. (which is what we wanted)
He has a few weeks 'holiday' from the chemo, and she is booking an abdominal CT scan to assess how helpful this treatment has been (which we wanted).
This way he should get to Centreparcs without the added burden of the chemo side effects.
and then we will look at more therapy when we get back
