Freckle/mole. Anything to worry about?

I think I'm gonna call my GP and try and get an appointment but do you think this freckle/mole is something to worry about? Internet searching isn't helping

Looks like a garden variety nevus to me, but I’m not a doctor. I would absolutely get it checked if you are concerned rather than sharing it on here. You will have people trying to convince you that you have eight minutes to live or it’s a sign of leprosy. Obviously I’m being overly dramatic, but you know what I mean. The only valid opinion is your doctor or a dermatologist.

Have you had fake tan on recently?

Omg yes could it be that?

I haven't really noticed before, it's on my side so not somewhere you see often

@mcrsi yes it could be the fake tan has settled in the grooves of the mole.
