General Anaesthetic tomorrow but have a cold - will op be cancelled ?

I have got a minor hernia op tomorrow under general. Developed a sinus type cold with lots of green emissions ? Will they still go ahead do you think ? Chest not too bad, just a little tight.

I would think probably not, especially as its an elective op not an emergency. Respiratory infections do quite significantly increase the chance of breathing probs from anaesthetic. Maybe give them a ring now and ask? If they wont do it anyway maybe they could give the slot to someone else?

spoke to them and they said come in anyway for assesment tomorrow am. Dosed up on vit c so we will see.
